As a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, and Educator, Dr. Bronfman is uniquely qualified to understand the struggles and conflict adolescents and young adults go through when facing an Eating Disorder. Dr. Bronfman brings years of experience interfacing with a variety of disorders, specifically Eating Disorders. Her work has focused on private clinical practice in conjunction with New York Presbyterian Hospital / Cornell Medical Center and the Pleasantville Public School District. Dr. Bronfman was formerly the Clinical Supervisor at the Renfrew Center For Eating Disorders of Greenwich, Connecticut.
An expert leader in the field of Eating Disorders, Dr. Bronfman has been a guest speaker at major academic institutions, including Yale University and the University of Connecticut. In addition, she has lectured at numerous school districts, nationally.
Dr. Bronfman is the Founder and Clinical Director of Backcountry Wellness, LLC, a customized program for the treatment of Eating Disorders. Backcountry Wellness provides individual therapy, group therapy, dietary and nutritional support to effect emotional, behavioral, social and spiritual growth for her patients. Our program offers an opportunity for a lifestyle reset which involves full immersion in a total mind-body wellness experience.
